Whatever brings you here — whether you need a conveyancer to guide you through a property purchase, sale, or remortgage, advice on agricultural land, a commercial transaction, or support with business law — I built Burns & Co. to make expert legal services genuinely accessible.
I trained as a commercial lawyer and have spent my career working across residential and agricultural property, corporate transactions, and business law. Every client receives clear advice, fixed fees, and my personal attention. No jargon. No surprises.

About the Founder
Joe Burns.
Joe Burns is a commercial lawyer, entrepreneur, and founder of Burns & Co. Group. His career is defined by an unusual combination: the legal rigour of a practising lawyer and the commercial instinct of someone who has been building businesses since the age of sixteen.
He currently heads the agricultural department at Arch Law, a global law firm, where he has developed a nationally recognised practice in agricultural and rural property law. Alongside this, he leads the Burns & Co. Group — an integrated platform spanning legal consultancy, strategic advisory, early-stage investment, and community impact.
Joe is a school governor, a former advisor to government, and a committed supporter of mental health charities. He believes that professional excellence and civic responsibility are not separate pursuits — they are the same one.
Commercial Law
Trained as a commercial lawyer and built his own practice, specialising in agricultural law alongside residential property, commercial property, corporate commercial, and business law.
Strategic Advisory
Provides consulting advice to companies and organisations across industries, regularly advising on strategic, operational, and commercial matters.
Arch Law
Heads the agricultural department at Arch Law, a global law firm, where he has developed a nationally recognised practice in agricultural and rural property law.
